Dubbed “Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat,” this year’s Handog ng Pangulo Program was successfully conducted in all five Provincial Governments of MIMAROPA. On September 13, the Provincial Governments of Marinduque, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, and Romblon joined various National Government Agencies (NGAs) in distributing assistance to identified beneficiaries within their respective jurisdictions.
With the goal of bringing government services closer to the people, the Handog sa Pangulo Program served as a vital platform for delivering much-needed support from both NGAs and Provincial Local Government Units (PLGUs). This ensured that beneficiaries received the assistance they rightfully deserved.
Among the services and support provided were:
Zero-balance billing in provincial government-run hospitals
Distribution of rice at Php 20 per kilo
Livelihood assistance
Financial assistance
And other forms of support
In Occidental Mindoro, the activity was personally attended by Regional Director Karl Caesar R. Rimando, CESO III who ensured the smooth coordination and implementation of the program between the PLGUs and NGAs.
