Six (6) Local Government Units (LGUs) from the MIMAROPA region were recognized with the prestigious CY 2024 ADAC Performance Audit Award held at the Manila Hotel on Wednesday, December 11. This accolade honors the best-performing and most effective Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (ADACs).

One municipality from the Province of Marinduque and five municipalities from the Province of Romblon were awarded the ADAC glass marker, symbolizing their remarkable achievements in implementing ADAC programs. These include sustaining drug-cleared or drug-free status, implementing community-based drug rehabilitation programs, facilitating reintegration efforts, and more.

The CY 2024 ADAC Performance Audit Awardees in MIMAROPA are:

• Alcantara, Romblon

• Calatrava, Romblon

• Romblon, Romblon

• San Fernando, Romblon

• Santa Maria, Romblon

Regional Director Karl Caesar Rimando, CESO III, along with PD German Yap of Marinduque, PD Frederick Gumabol of Romblon, and the respective MLGOOs, accompanied the LGUs in receiving their awards.
