The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) MIMAROPA successfully conducted the Basic Incident Command System (ICS) Training for its Disaster Preparedness Management and Action Team (DPMAT) and assigned Internal Incident Management Team (IMT) Members last September 3–5, 2025 at Brentwood Suites, Quezon City.
A total of 31 participants completed the training—further strengthening their knowledge and skills on disaster preparedness and response to better protect lives, communities, and public service continuity.
This milestone was made possible through the expertise of our partners and facilitators from OCD MIMAROPA, DILG CODIX, DILG CALABARZON, PDRRMO Quezon Province, and the Office of the House of Representatives, 2nd District of Oriental Mindoro.
As disasters become more frequent and unpredictable due to climate change, DILG MIMAROPA continues its commitment to building a more resilient and responsive organization through capacity-building initiatives like ICS Training.
