The DILG Palawan successfully conducted its First Semester Provincial Team Conference at Asturias Hotel in Puerto Princesa City on Tuesday, June 17.

The conference was graced by the presence of DILG MIMAROPA Regional Director, Karl Caesar Rimando, CESO III, along with DILG Palawan Provincial Director, Virgilio Tagle. Provincial personnel and Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (MLGOOs) from across the province also participated in the session.

Key matters discussed included the scaling-up of the Local Governance Resource Center (LGRC), updates on Finance and Administrative Division (FAD), the Local Governance Monitoring and Evaluation Section (LGMES), and updates on the Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU).

A significant highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with new Multi-Sectoral Advisory Committee (MSAC) partners, marking a new chapter in strengthening partnerships for local government initiatives.
