The DILG Office of the Project Development Services (OPDS) and DILG MIMAROPA conducted a joint monitoring of LGSF projects in Victoria and Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro on October 14 to October 18, 2024.
The following were the completed projects assessed:
– Construction of Multi-purpose Building in Barangay Poblacion, Victoria, Oriental Mindoro
– Solar Powered Streetlights Project at Barangay Urdaneta, Victoria, Oriental Mindoro
– Construction of Multi-purpose Building in City of Calapan, Oriental Mindoro
– Construction of Multi-purpose Building at Sta. Isabel, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro
The DILG Team was composed of Engr. Noel P. Manaois, DRR-Sector, Engr. Julian Emil B. Ison WSS-Sector, and Engr. Geromie C. Operario, LRS-Sector (OPDS), Engr. Kyle Brent P. Girao (DILG MIMAROPA), and Engr. John Carlo A. Inocencio, Engr. Lou Adrian S. Lopez, and Engr. Sharyn D. Villarez (DILG Oriental Mindoro).
During the exit conference Regional and Provincial Engineers met with Regional Director Karl Caesar Rimando to discuss the issues encountered during the implementation, and discuss strategies for maintaining and sustaining projects post-completion.
